NEWS/UPDATES
This journal has nothing to do with DeviantArt, but an event that occurred in real life today. I just really need to let this out or it's going to build up inside too much.

As far as I'm concerned, today was terrible.

I decided to hang out at my fire station today since I had no one to hang out with at home. So, I get there around noon. At 1pm, we get a call to a crashed car. Ok, no problem. Turnes out the driver was fine so we got cancelled.

Then, driving back to the station, we get a call that smoke is coming from a hobby store on the other side of the district. Cool right! We don't get fires very much. Along with one other firefighter, I got to make entry on the burning structure, and put out the fire.

All is great right? Fires out, friends are patting me on the back. Crap! I have an hour and a half until I have to be at work at 5pm.

So, 4pm rolls around and we go back to the station to get things cleaned up. Now, I'm best friends with the assistant fire chief. He says it's fine for me to skip the clean up, go home, get cleaned up and go to work. He even tells everyone I'm cleared to leave.

So, a few minutes go by, and one of the lieutenants calls on the PA system, saying "Where are you?", as in me!

So, I go outside to explain what's going on. I explain, I have work in an hour. He interrupts me and ask "so, are you going to bullsh*t around for a half hour then leave or are you going to help clean up?"

I say "Look, the chief says I can . . . "

He interrupts again "Don't cough an attitude with me!!" He shouted at me! He's never shouted at me in the 3.5 years I've been there!

Needless to saw, I was dumbfounded, speechless. I tried to explain, but he kept hounding me. I finally said, "Alright, I'm leaving." And he finally backed off.

I walked back inside and fell apart. I cried, I hyperventilated, I was a mess. I'd never been so embarassed in my life. What could I have done? He's a lieutenant, not to mention president of our association board (which I serve on as well). Anything I said would have made me the bad guy.

I think I'll resign from my position on the board. I never want to work with this guy again. He seriously hurt me and I honestly felt extreme anger towards him.

You know what else? This guy didn't even fight any fire. I DID!! He just showed up in time to clean up. I'm the one who is freaking whiped out! Strip him of his rank, he's the same level as me for goodness sake!

Needless to saw, the assistant fire chief saw me baling and asked what was wrong. I explained, and he went out to talk to the lieutenant. Found out it was a misunderstanding. But he never came back to apologize. It hurts so much.

I got back home with just enough time to take a bath and get to work. I didn't even get any dinner to eat.

On top of that, I'm really weak right now and I had to work this evening. My legs, arms, and back ache. And I have to work tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday ALL day until late at night!! No rest at all.

So, all art is on hold for a long time, at least until Monday. I'm getting some sleep, I really need it. I have a splitting headache, and pain all over my body.

Anyway, no need to comment if you don't want to. I just really needed to release some of this "hurt" in my body. Thank goodness my coworkers at my job were more sympathetic then my fellow firefighters.

So, if any of my comments or things like that seem short and uninteresting, this is why. My mood is shot.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I could really use some cheering up, but you don't have to draw anything. Seriously.
